This means that the Three Cinnabar Fields
for each of their residences have borders that are one inch (Yi Cun).
Therefore, the first is called the 'One Inch Field' (Cun Tian),
and it exists within its own 'Cinnabar Field', where
it follows the rules of Natural Truth and logic to produce Vitality of Life.
The Classic says: 'The Field has a Residence of a [single] cubit'.
'One Cubit House' (Chi Zhai) means correctly, the Face.
