Tōng Wŏ Huá Jīng Tiáo Yīn Yáng
Leading us to the Flowery Essence (Hua Jin),
the mixing of Yin and Yang.

Wèi Chù Jīng Yǎng Shén Yĕ Fù Yīn Bào Yáng Tiáo Jīng
Shén Yĕ

This means, much in the way that one raises livestock,
the Essence (Sperm) successfully in like manner,
calls for one to nourish one's energy.
Bearing upon one's back the Yin, and hugging close the Yang,
blending [constantly due to movement] for these are the Animal Spirits of the body.


Fú Yú Xuán Mén Hòu Tiān Dào
Lying prostrate,
waiting at the Abstruse Gate of Heaven Dao.

Mén Wéi Bí Yĕ Hòu Shàng Bù Zhī Yī Shén
The Gate is the Nose.
It waits in the upper part of the body,
[to serve] the Single God.


Jìn Zài Wŏ Shēn Huán Zì Shŏu
Staying close by in the Body,
but even more does one's own self need to keep watch close by.

Lìng Shŏu Shén Jīng Zì Niàn Yǐ Yĕ
Ordered to abide close by and defend the Divine Essence (Shen Jing),
self-recitement is to be ceased.
