Qīng Jìng Wú Wéi Shén Liú Zhǐ
Peace and quiet [requires that one] Do Nothing and Remain Passive (Wu Wei).
The Divine Spirits remain until this is ceased.

Nèi Dāng Xiū Dào Zuò Wú Wéi Wài Dāng Xiū Dào Zuò
Wú Yù Xīn Bù Fán Luàn Jīng Shén Liú Zhǐ

Internal study of the Path allows one to Do Nothing and Remain Passive (Wu Wei).
Externally then finding it suitable to follow the principles of the Dao,
and so being Without Desire (Wu Yu),
the Mind (Xin) is not discomposed or bothered.
The Animal Spirits (Jing Sheng) of the body remain put until this stops.


Jīng Qì Shàng Xià Guān Fēn Lǐ
The Essential Motive Qi of Life (Jing Qi) above and below the Barrier
is distributed in a natural, ordered fashion.

Qì Dāng Jīng Sī Shàng Xià Bù Shŏu Yī Shén Yĕ
The Qi becomes concentrated thought throughout
the upper and lower parts of the body,
maintaining watch over the Single God (Yi Shen).
