Zuò Yú Lú Xià Guān Xiǎo Tóng
Sittingby the Thatched Hut,
one sees below a Small Child.

Bí Zhĕ Lú Yĕ Guān Jiàn Chì Zǐ Zhù Qí Zhōng Yĕ
The [under part of the] Nose is the Thatched Hut.
Looking at this one will see what appears to be
a newborn baby (Chi Zi) residing in its midst.


Dàn Xī Cún Zài Shén Míng Guāng
For the short while of the morning or evening
there exists the presence of gods,
there in the clearness of the Spirit-Light (in the Mind-Heart),
bright rays of light.

Cháo Mù Cún Shén Bù Lí Jǐ Shēn Guāng Huī Cháng Zài Mù Qián
Whether morning or evening, the gods accumulate, not leaving one's body.
The splendid radiance continues to exist for the moment.
